MAKING GNOMES / Martha DownerTuesday from 12:30 - 3:30 PM
Dec 101 Day
Make fused glass gnomes or Santas to brighten winter days! Students will learn/build upon basic techniques of glass fusing. Topics to be discussed and demonstrated will be glass compatibility, glass cutting and utilization, designing on glass, preparing the kiln shelf using Papyros paper release, discussing firing schedules and glass project results. We will make 3 trees, they can be hanging pieces or attached to tea light holders. This class doesn't require previous experience. All abilities are welcome, advanced students will do more involved work. Most supplies are provided. Please always wear close-toed shoes.
Supplies required: Elmer's glue (white or gel), Super glue (not gel and not instant)
