We will explore block design using Taqueté – one of the oldest weft-faced compound tabby weaves. Each student will develop a personalized design for cloth best suited for table linens, pillows or bags. Traditional Taqueté and Polychrome Taqueté techniques will be a part of the class. Students who have some prior weaving experiences are welcome in this class. Brand new weavers are encouraged to take the Weaving Introduction Workshop or Beginners Plus! Class. Supplies are included in the registration fee.
