Description
Join us for a special volunteer opportunity at the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill! We will take the Parks and Rec Minibus to Chapel Hill and volunteer our time with the Ronald McDonald's Light a Luminary project. Participants will have the opportunity to pack luminary kits. This kits are then used to honor families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. We will then have a tour of the facility. This is a great way to get involved with the community and to support families in need.
This program is specifically designed for individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Participants attending with a personal assistant are welcome.
