Join us for a day filled with beauty, flavor and adventure in Wilmington, NC. We will begin the day with a guided tour of the breathtaking spring blooms in Arlie Gardens. The Gardens are known for a collection of over 100,000 azaleas and countless camellia cultivars as well as majestic live oaks and serene waterways. After our morning exploration we will indulge in a delicious lunch with views at one of Wilmington’s charming local restaurants, Elijah’s Oyster and Fish Camp. We will cap the day off with a relaxing riverboat cruise along the Cape Fear River as we enjoy panoramic views of the historic waterfront. Trip fee includes transportation, garden tour, lunch and river boat cruise. Registration Deadline: March 1, 2022Bus will leave from Apex Senior Center- 63 Hunter St. Apex
6:30 am check-in at the Apex Senior Center. Depart at 6:45 am.Arrive at the gardens at 9 am. Followed by lunch then a river cruise.Home around 5:30 pm.
