Description
You probably know it is Groundhog Day, but did you know it is also World Wetland Day? To celebrate, we'll visit the picturesque Beaver Creek wetland. After learning about the many benefits of wetlands, see some wetland critter mounts up close and learn how they are adapted to this amazing area. Bring a camera to capture the beautiful scenery, binoculars if you have them (some will be available to borrow), dress for the weather, and wear good walking shoes. We will walk a total of about 1.5 miles. For all ages. All participants (adults and children) must be registered. Meet at the New Hill parking area at the lower picnic table.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and all participants (children and adults) must be registered online. No pets, except service animals, are permitted at programs.
