Description
This program will cover: Safety Standards, care for the infield dirt/skin area, "Lip" removal, moisture amount, mats, tamping, dugouts, bleachers, fencing, goals, and bases as well as areas around them, Working the clay. Learn how to care for the Outfield – Turf Irrigation System - placement of heads - watering, flooding, and trip hazards, Top Dressing/Over Seeding, warning track and foul line. Additionally, learn about: tools, ADA, professional organizations, tables, trash receptacles, litter, rules, Inspections - frequency and paperwork.
In addition to the classroom session, there will be a site visit to Antioch Community Park included. Lunch will be provided.
