3 Hot Dog Recipes You Never Thought to Make

Biscuit Cheese Dog

Two ingredients and one cooking tool, which you can find at the campsite, is all you need for one of the most basic hot dog recipes you can make. Use this go-to meal when you only have time for a quick dinner at the campsite.

Ingredients

1 package uncooked, crescent rolls
1 package hot dogs
Optional:
1 package sliced cheddar cheese
Dijon mustard, optional
Can of baked beans, optional

Lay the crescent rolls out and roll your hot dogs inside of them. If you want to include cheese, lay one or two slices on the uncooked crescent roll and roll it in with the hot dog.

Stick one corner of the roll to the other, so the hot dog stays in, and then put it on the end of a stick. Let your little ones cook these over the fire until the rolls and hot dogs are cooked through. Pull your finished cheese dogs off the sticks and serve with a side of baked beans and Dijon mustard for dipping, or enjoy it all by itself.
