About this event
The competitive volleyball league is for 4th - 8th grade girls from all communities. In this 6 week competitive league, we accept only team registrations, with a minimum of 7 players per team. The competitive league is designed for experienced volleyball players (not beginners). You must have volleyball experience to play in this league. Teams need to have both a head coach and assistant coach in place. Players will register individually online and will be prompted to list their coach's name. Competitive coaches should email their team rosters to; communityeducation@weatherfordisd.com and we will assign players to their respective teams. Registration includes game shirts for all players. Awards will be given based on league standings at the conclusion of the season for 1st and 2nd place in each division. The competitive league will have (1) one-hour practice per week (day/time determined by the coach), and will play 1-2 games on Saturdays. Practices will begin the week of September 11th, 2023. Games will start on September 16th and could start as early as 8am. HEAD COACHES WILL NEED TO CALL OR EMAIL COMMUNITY ED FOR A ONE TIME USE REGISTRATION COUPON CODE. Location of games is subject to change based on gym availability for the district.
