The 5th Stacey DeHaven Memorial Education 5k & Fun Run takes place in the beautiful Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton, VA. This annual event is in remembrance of Stacey with all the proceeds going towards college scholarships in her name. Stacey was an avid runner and treasured her morning runs in the beautiful park. She grew up on the "Country Roads" of a small town in West Virginia until she attended Bridgewater College in Virginia. Stacey proceeded to own and manage a gymnastics gym in Staunton, VA where she resided until she went to be with the Lord in 2016. She lived life to the fullest, always cared for others, and had a huge heart! We would be honored to have you join us in celebrating a life well lived and helping those pursuing their education. Hope to see you at Gypsy Hill Park on April 15, 2023!
Event details and schedule
The 5th Stacey DeHaven Memorial 5K & Fun Run will take place April 15, 2023 in The beautiful Gypsy Hill Park located at 600 Churchville Ave. Staunton, VA 24401. The course is on gentle slopes which winds through the beautiful park. The 5K race begins at 10:00 am. Registration and packet pick up is between 8:00am - 9:30am. Parking is available throughout the park, snacks will be available upon finishing the race, with trophies and medals awarded shortly after the last runner has completed the race. Remember to bring a big smile and plan to have a fun time supporting The Stacey DeHaven Memorial Education Foundation with proceeds going to college scholarships!
