Our pelvic floor is an incredible group of muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and bowel. Throughout our lives there are many things that can lead to a weakened pelvic floor, including pregnancy, childbirth, and chronic straining. This workshop will focus on exercises targeting the muscles of the pelvic floor to help them wake up and gain strength. We will also explore methods to relax the pelvic floor muscles for those who suffer from an overactive pelvic floor, a condition that can cause pain and dysfunction for men and women alike and often goes hand in hand with muscle weakness in the area over time.
