The Abe's Olympic Triathlon Participants will swim 9/10 of a mile in the lake parallel to shore and thru the arches of Lindsay Bridge and then bike 24.8 miles on rolling prairie roads. Runners then embark on a 6.2 mile run. An awards ceremony will be at 11am. The race will start at 7:30 am on July 30, 2022 at Lake Springfield.
For 2022 Abe's Olympic Triathlon is the Illinois State Championship for USA Triathlon Age Group, High School and Clubs.
It serves as the qualifier for the National Championship being held August 6-7 in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
