About this event
The Business and Entrepreneurship Summer course will introduce students to the world of business in the fields of finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategy. Utilizing hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and project based learning, students will be able to understand and apply the lean canvas business model, core business principles including ideation methods, SWOT, PESTLE, marketing mix, and financial statements analysis to name a few. Instruction will include case studies, group challenges, and a capstone project (entrepreneurship innovation plan) and students will leave the course with the ability to both confidently innovate and successfully pitch their next big idea. Starting off with just a simple desire to learn and share ideas, this course will give students the preparation, skills and tools they will need to become an emerging business professional, experienced leader, and future entrepreneur.
