Session 1 - Drama: Fun with Shakespeare This is a modern twist on a classic author. What did Romeo text to Juliette? Can you solve the cold case of Julius Caesar? Can you write the plot of Hamlet using emojis or write a scene from Macbeth in comic form? We will read exerts from some classic plays and learn about the life and times of William Shakespeare. In the process, students will improve their mastery of the English language. Session 2 - Still Life Drawing in Charcoal In this class students will use charcoal and art tools to capture a realistic image, learn to coordinate hand/eye movement to record the image you see on to paper. After a little time, and a few tricks of the trade students will amaze themselves at what they can draw.
