Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are singles and doubles. Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court.Nobel Recreation Center is offering free Reserved Court Time Badminton for Singles games or 1-1 play. each player must register for appropriate date and time in order to participate. Availability is limited to the number of courts available at each facility each day. Every player will be checked in and will have to complete a health screening process before entering the facility. Players will be assigned to a designated court upon arrival. players will not be allowed to switch partners or comingle with other players. Only registered participants will be allowed to enter the facility. No spectators allowed at this time. Players are asked to bring their own equipment. Net and ball will be provided.Face covering are required to be worn throughout the facility at all times.
