Civic Dance Arts Adult Beginner Tap 1A - Have you always wanted to dance but never tried, or used to dance and now want to get back into it? If so, come join our tap class. You will learn basic taps steps through warm ups, dancing across the floor and finishing off with a combination set to music. Tap shoes and proper dance attire required.
All Civic Dance Arts Summer classes will be taught in person following City of San Diego's (Current Mask Policy). Only registered participants will be allowed to enter the dance rooms. All registrations are required to be completed online by 8pm the day before class starts to ensure entrance into the class. As part of the registration process, participants/legal guardians will be required to acknowledge COVID-19 protocols and agree to follow them as part of their enrollment in the program or space reservation. Please make sure that most up to date email and phone contact information is on your dancer’s profile on SDRecConnect.
Classes meet for 10 sessions and for once a week for 45 minutes (unless indicated otherwise). The classes listed are subject to change/cancellation when enrollment minimums are not met and based on budgetary constraints. Dance instructors have final determination if their class levels are appropriate for the skills of the dancer enrolled. If the class is determined to not be a good fit, the student will be offered a transfer to another class.
