About this event
Do you have dreams of performing or working backstage in a theater? Are you just curious how an idea in your mind ends up on stage? Join Mr. Cohen for a six-week workshop where students will have the opportunity to experience what life can be like in a theater. We will start by getting to know the theater space, and then work through all the steps that go into devising and producing a production. Students will even get to experience a Tech Rehearsal for a Peninsula Drama production. This class is great for any student who is passionate about theater, or even just a bit curious about writing, directing, designing or performing. Open to all students, grades 5-8, this is a low-pressure opportunity to come into a theater and have some fun. No experience necessary, all level are welcome.
