About this event
MAPS Youth Seminary seeks to equip Muslim youth in the Seattle area with a strong foundation in their Deen through a more serious Islamic studies program taught by qualified instructors. There are no prerequisites for these class Topics: Preservation and Understanding of Hadith Preservation will be taught by Anas Azeemi. The class will cover a foundational topic in formal Islamic studes, Hadith. Students will learn the importance, and system of preservation of Hadith. Students will be taught how Hadith are classified, and how they are applied in the different Islamic Sciences. The students will also study a curated list of Hadith every week and are expected to memorize these Hadith. Stories of the Sahaba (Companions): Stories of the Sahaba will be taught by Warisha Soomro and covers the practical application of Islamic principles into daily life as modeled by the sahaba.
