Many older adults experience concerns about falling, and restrict their activities as a result. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. You will learn to: view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and exercise to increase strength and balance. Anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength, or if you have fallen in the past and restricted activities because of falling, this program is for you! In addition to A Matter of Balance, you will receive easy, accessible yoga tools to support strength and flexibility for better balance.

Once you have registered for the class, a separate email will be sent no later than 24 before the first class to the email account we have for you in ActiveNet. This email will include technical support contacts, links to virtual classrooms and passwords if necessary, as well as information on the usage of the online classroom for your class.
