This activity meets online and so doesn't really play together at the same time, rather the participants use a 3rd party software called BandLab that helps put together a satisfying ensemble recording to enjoy.
Prerequisite: At least two years playing your instrument/s, ability to play scales in a few keys, name notes, and play in time.
Players are placed into groups using the information provided at time of registration and also the student’s submitted recorded playing sample.
Group assignments will be communicated to applicants in September. Ensembles meet for up to 45 minutes per week depending on level and repertoire. Groups then meet weekly at a day and time based on students’ availability indicated in the registration process.
Participants may be asked to submit a recording of their playing if needed to assist in the best placement of students to groups.Pay What You Can Pricing
