Do you have a current StarGuard certification? Maintain your lifeguard license in half of the time of a regular certification class. This course is a hybrid course that will include online coursework (required for entry into class), and in-person dryland and water skills. The skills will include but are not limited to First Aid / CPR, and in-water individual and group skills. There will be a written test, as well as any updates from our lifeguard licensing company StarGuard Elite. **Important information about the class: Please bring your lifeguard book (online access only), your pocket mask, a hip pack, a swimsuit, and a pen or pencil. If you are not feeling well, we ask you to stay home. We can reschedule for a later date when you are feeling better. If you have any further questions, please email lisa.osterberg@portlandoregon.gov
Lifeguard Certification must be CURRENT through the first day of class or the client cannot register for this class!
