About this event

Build your fabrication skills while adding options beyond stock sheet and wire. Learn to create custom decorative surfaces and textures, including roll printing, etching, and patterning. Using your own patterned metal, explore methods for adding dimension, such as easy hollow forms, and unique pillow forms using the hydraulic press. Options for adding bezel-set cabochons to your work included.

Pre-requisite: Jewelry/Metalsmithing I or equivalent experience. Price includes a $55 studio and basic materials fee which provides all basic materials. Additional materials available for purchase.

Pay What You Can: We understand that our activity fees may be a barrier to participation for some members of our community. If you are unable to pay the full fee amount, you may use the discount feature at check-out to pay what you can.

Donate: Portland Parks & Recreation relies on customer activity fees to make public programs possible. If you have the financial means, please consider making a donation to PP&R’s “Community Access Fund” at check-out (see the “Donation” drop-down list.). This fund helps us serve those in need. Thank you for your support.
