Drawing - Portrait Essentials - Dibujo - elementos esenciales del retrato
Deepen your portrait drawing skills by learning practical strategies and techniques for capturing a likeness and conveying a strong sense of form. Focus on time-tested methods that express the true character of the sitter while taking into account tonal relationships, color, composition, key anatomic features and construction of the head. Work with different materials and progress from drawing with pencils, charcoal and pastel using four colors on toned paper ( aux quatre crayon ). Projects include drawing master copies, working from photographs, and finishing with a self-portrait drawing from life.
