Learn watercolor history, current practice, and technical basics while expressing your own unique vision in a supportive environment. Improve and refine your painting skills as you learn methods in mixing colors, applying washes, and using tones and values as compositional elements in your paintings. Begin with simple exercises designed to help you feel competent about your style and skill. Additional topics include wet-into-wet, saving the white of the paper, and creating textures and patterns.
