Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
The final level of the City's Learn to Skate program focuses on speed and technique to perform forward and backward skating and crossovers, slaloms, tight turns, pivots and stopping. Skates and helmet included in program fee.
Prerequisite: Completion of Child Level 6 or ability to meet Child Level 6 skills.
To Bring:
- Gloves
- CSA approved helmet are required, bike helmets not made for ice
- Skate and helmet rental free with registered lesson
Helpful tips:
- Allow adequate time prior to lessons to acquire and put on equipment
- Face cage highly encourage if providing your own helmet
- Non plastic skates provide better learning
