About this event
LEGO WeDo 2.0 (12 classes for Fall Semester) We prepare our students to participate in First LEGO League. Our students participate in various robotics and coding competitions. Concepts covered: Introduction to building & programming Motors and Gears Gearing Up & Down Pulleys Sensors – Motion, Tilt Gears – Crown, Worm Sample WeDo 2.0 Projects Speed Control – This project is about designing programs that will help a race car driver to determine and control the speed of a race car. Fearless Frog – This project is about modeling a frog that can recognize, and escape from, dangerous predators. Reverse and Recycle – This project is about designing programs to make a recycling truck safer for the driver and pedestrians. Smart Lift – This project is about designing programs that will help with the atomization of a factory warehouse. Working Rover – This project is about collaborating with other groups to design and develop a multifunctional space rover for collecting soil samples. Projects with focus on: Engineering, Physical Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Language
