Verde Park Recreation Center offers an adult sand volleyball leagues with post-season tournaments in four-person leisure. You must have a complete team to register. The league schedule, contingent on the number of teams, will be comprised of 7-12 total weeks (18-24 league games) including a one or two week post-season, double-elimination tournament. Individual players may not play on multiple teams on the same league night. Exercise promotes not only physical health, but mental and emotional growth as well. Come develop and improve skills through a combination of traditional exercises, obstacle courses, relay races and games while learning about teamwork and sportsmanship. All skill levels welcome. “The City of Phoenix Mayor/Council approved the use of The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for programs and services in our community to support an immediate pandemic response and lay the groundwork for a strong and equitable recovery. To support this endeavor the Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to provide one-time financial assistance for our winter Youth Sports Leagues and Programs.”
