About this event
In this two-day, hands-on clinic, you’ll work with experienced teamsters of Robinson Ranch and their horses in the wide open setting of South Mountain Park. If you’ve never driven a horse-drawn cart, this clinic will help you to get comfortable. If you’re an experienced driver, enjoy brushing up your skills and meeting new students who have as much of an interest in driving as you. On day one, you will learn the basics of draft horses, how to harness, hook up a cart, and ground drive while focusing on safety working around these large animals. On day two, put your newfound skills to work! Jump in a cart or wagon, take the reins and DRIVE! **Bring a small cooler and your lunch along for the journey**
