Classes taught are from classical Nihon (Japanese) Ju-Jitsu (gentle art) systems which are designed to develop self-defense skills, coordination, strength, self-confidence and respect. Beginning level students will learn safe falling techniques and basic Jujitsu arts utilizing many techniques: throwing, bone and joint locking, grappling, choking, striking, kneeling and kicking as well as controlling an adversary. Uniforms are available upon request through the instructor and are not required during the initial class. Classes are taught by Nanban Sato-ryu Jujitsu Japan Certified Instructor, Sensei T. Rabino Sr.
Starting Monday, August 2, 2021 masks are required for everyone ages 3 and older when inside any city building. Mask requirement includes during all indoor sports and all indoor activities– this includes wearing a mask while actively participating on the court in sports, during all classes, while working out on the fitness/cardio equipment and the walking track.
