About this event
This ensemble, led by the Director of Orchestras Renee Warnick, is open to all string, woodwind, brass, and piano players. (Students playing other instruments can also be included but should speak with Renee Warnick first. Students new to the program should also speak with Renee Warnick to confirm eligibility.) Students must have played for at least a year, read music, and be currently taking private lessons in order to join the Orchestra. Piano players should be open to also playing percussion if needed. Students will expand their instrumental knowledge during each term, refine their reading skills, and develop crucial ensemble skills. Repertoire will range from traditional classical music to pop/rock music to original compositions. Please Note: This Class Will Not Meet on 10/5
