In this class students will create and paint platters, bowls, boxes, candle holders and goodie jars. In conjunction with our art, we will be making delicious healthy treats to take home. Every week we will focus on either sculpting or painting, and every other week we will cook. As our pieces develop, and we contemplate how best to decorate them, we will make some of our favorite dishes. Our goal is to create beautiful, independent art pieces that inspire us. In the past students have chosen to cook pizza, quesadillas, muffins, sushi, and crepes. Whichever treats we decide to make this time around we will ensure there is both a vegetarian and gluten-free option. Students will also create their very own illustrated mini cookbook!
