New For 2019 - finally Manhattan gets a Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot!
Join us for a 5K on Manhattan's West Side. You'll start and finish in the shadow of the Intrepid and get a chance to dig on the the New York City skyline, before you dig into your Turkey later in the day. Guaranteed fun!
This race will be run in two waves - one starting at 8:30 and one starting at 9:15. You will be seeded by pace with the faster runners in wave 1. You may drop back to wave 2 if you wish, but you may not move up to wave 1. Please provide an accurate pace so we can seed appropriately.

The race starts at Pier 84, at West 44th Street and 12th Avenue and continues south along the flat and fast running path that hugs the Manhattan waterfront with scenic views down to Pier 62 at Chelsea Piers and back again.

Bag check and toilets will be provided. Water will be available on the course, and bagels, spreads, fresh fruit and more will make up the usual great NYCRUNS post-race spread at the finish line. The giveaway for this race will be a great long sleeve tech t-shirt*. Free finish line photos and video will be available on your results page within a week of the race.
*Sizes are guaranteed – if we don’t have your size at the race, email email@example.com within two days of the race and we’ll ship your shirt to you a few weeks later. Make sure to include the race name, your name, size and shipping address in the body of the email.
Pre-Race pickup will be Wednesday 11/27 from 12 PM-6 PM at Paragon Sports (867 Broadway) in Manhattan. Take the 456LNQRW to Union Square.
Race day pickup will take place on Pier 84 starting at 7 AM.
BIB & SHIRT MAILING
If registering on or before November 4th, you can choose to have your bib and shirt mailed to you for an additional fee of $20. You must choose this option when registering; shipping to domestic US addresses only.

RESULTS, AWARDS, FINISH LINE PHOTOS & VIDEO
Results will be emailed (often during the race) and the full results will be posted on our results page after the race. Finish line photos and video will also be available on the results page several days after the event.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners overall in each race. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three in each the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.

The standard no-refunds, no-deferrals, no-transfers policy applies, unless you are signed up for the NYCRUNS Membership Program. NYCRUNS members receive a 10% discount, race deferral rights, and other perks. Strollers or dogs are not allowed in NYCRUNS races and you may be disqualified if earbuds or headphones hinder your awareness. You must remain on pace to finish within the time limit in order to receive course support and an official finish time. As per the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017, any adult interacting with amateur athletes, defined as a child or minor under the age of 18 that participates in youth running programs or any events hosted or operated by NYCRUNS, has a duty to report a reasonable suspicion of sexual misconduct such as child sex abuse, non-consensual sexual conduct, sexual harassment or intimate relationships involving an imbalance of power within a 24- hour period to local law enforcement by calling the New York State Central Register at 800-635-1522. Participants found to be listed on a sex offender registry, convicted of a sex crime, or caught having, creating, or distributing child pornography will be immediately barred from all NYCRUNS events.
