New Yorkers love to multitask, and this race hits the jackpot. Get your runner’s high and your sugar high simultaneously! Run your heart out, then re-fuel with your fill of puffy round goodies in all the classic jelly, frosted, glazed, sugared and custard-filled varieties. Randall's Island is the venue for this Homer-Simpson-approved race. Enjoy spectacular views of Manhattan as you run along the East River and the thrill of starting and ending your race on the Icahn Stadium track.
Event details and scheduleTHE COURSE
This certified 5K course with views of the East River and Manhattan in the distance takes you outside Icahn Stadium along the island’s beautiful waterfront pathways and then returns you into the stadium where you can make a grand finish on the 400-meter running track.

Bag check and toilets will be provided. Water will be available on the course, and DONUTS-DONUTS-DONUTS, fresh fruit and more will make up the usual great NYCRUNS post race spread to greet you at the finish line. Free finish line photos and video will be available on the results page. The giveaway for this race will be a great tech t-shirt*.

Race day packet pickup will be available at Icahn Stadium beginning at 8:00 AM. There will be no off site packet pickup for this event.
Bib mailing is available for this race for participants registered through 10/14. You must choose this option when registering and the bib must be mailed to the address you choose then. Shipping to domestic US addresses only. The cost is $15.00. Any spectator bibs associated with your registration will also be shipped to you with your bib mailing selection. Note: Shirts will not be mailed. They will be available for pickup before or after the race.

RESULTS, AWARDS, FINISH LINE PHOTOS & VIDEO
Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners overall in each race. Age group awards in the 5K will be awarded to the top three in each the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over. Our awards policies are available here.
Finish line photos and video will also be available on the results page. These may not be published for several days.

Icahn Stadium is about 1.3 miles from the 4,5,6 trains at 125 / Lexington, as well as 1.8 miles from the Q train on 96th and 2nd. Both make for scenic jogs to Race HQ at Icahn.
103rd Street Footbridge
The 103rd Street Footbridge in Manhattan is open to pedestrians and cyclists 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, and connects the East River Esplanade/FDR Drive at 103rd Street with the southern end of Randall’s Island Park.
RFK Triborough Bridge
A walkway along the RFK Triborough Bridge runs between 125th Street and 2nd Avenue and the northwestern section of Randall’s Island Park. Note: the ramp on this walkway exceeds ADA code.

The Randall’s Island Connector
The Randall’s Island Connector provides at-grade access to pedestrians and cyclists 365 days per year, 24 hours a day, and runs under the arches of the Hell Gate Bridge railroad trestle between 132nd Street at Willow/Walnut Avenues in the Bronx and the northern shore of Randall’s Island Park.
RFK Triborough Bridge
Walkways on both the eastern and western sides of the RFK Triborough Bridge run between 133rd Street at Cypress Avenue/Bruckner Boulevard and the Bronx Shore Fields area at Randall’s Island Park. Note: these walkways exceed ADA code.
RFK Triborough Bridge
A walkway runs along the RFK Triborough Bridge between Hoyt Avenue and 28th Street, adjacent to the Astoria Boulevard N/W subway station, and the midpoint of Randall’s Island Park, adjacent to the Central Fields. Note: due to stairs this pathway is not ADA accessible.
There is no subway to Randall's Island, but the M35 bus runs to the Island from the Northwest corner of 125th Street and Lexington Avenue. Transfer is available from the Lexington Avenue 4, 5 or 6 subway at 125th Street.

The standard no-refunds, no-deferrals, no-transfers policy applies, unless you are signed up for the NYCRUNS Membership Program. NYCRUNS members receive a 10% discount, race deferral rights, and other perks. Strollers or dogs are not allowed in NYCRUNS races and you may be disqualified if earbuds or headphones hinder your awareness. You must remain on pace to finish within the time limit in order to receive course support and an official finish time. As per the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017, any adult interacting with amateur athletes, defined as a child or minor under the age of 18 that participates in youth running programs or any events hosted or operated by NYCRUNS, has a duty to report a reasonable suspicion of sexual misconduct such as child sex abuse, non-consensual sexual conduct, sexual harassment or intimate relationships involving an imbalance of power within a 24- hour period to local law enforcement by calling the New York State Central Register at 800-635-1522. Participants found to be listed on a sex offender registry, convicted of a sex crime, or caught having, creating, or distributing child pornography will be immediately barred from all NYCRUNS events.
