In this club. Teachers will facilitate guided conversations in the Spanish language. Throughout the semester we will alternate between introducing a Spanish speaking country one week and a (Spanish) debate style class the following week and so on. Students will discover more about the many different Spanish speaking countries and discuss significant themes that may be significant to them. It is also important to allow space for students to discuss and debate (teacher approved) topics that are relevant to them. These topics may include but are not limited to: fashion trends, music, environmental issues, etc. Students looking to join this club should be able to understand and speak intermediate-advanced level Spanish. Students will discuss, debate and teach solely in Spanish. Native Spanish speaking students are welcome to join the club as we dive deep into the language through conversation, debates, and cultural exploration.
