About this event
This course introduces students to coding concepts, thefundamentals of video game design, and digital worldbuilding. Throughproject-based instruction using the Scratch coding language, students will learnabout events, loops, variables, and other core coding concepts. In addition tousing Scratch to build games, they will also use the Bloxels, Minecraft EDU, andRoblox Studio platforms. These tools will help students gain an understanding of3D environments and how to build robust games that include heroes, enemies,levels, power-ups, hazards, and more. Most importantly, students will have funwhile building foundations in complex topics!
