This activity is closed to further registration.
Learn the elements of music and develop your listening skills to identify patterns across different genres. You will understand how to apply these new skills in your own music practice and will explore the fundamentals of creating music. With a practical approach to music theory, you will recognize rhythmic patterns, scales, melodies, chords, and so on. No previous music knowledge required. No class 2/21 and 5/30.
Students can expect between 45 minutes to 1 hour of challenging but fun listening and writing activities outside of class.
