Intro to Tahitian Dance
Mondays
March 3 to April 21
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Lake Marion CC
Adults – ages 18+
This class will familiarize students with the mechanics of basic Tahitian dance steps and hand movements. We will review basic steps, vocabulary and costuming.
An introductory choreography for performance will be taught. Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. Students may also want to bring the following items: Pareo (sarong/hip wrap), practice socks that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty, and a water bottle with a top.
