A Ride To Remember
LAPD Mission Station 11121 N. Sepulveda Blvd Mission Hills, CA 91345 Organized by MISSION AREAAbout this event
SACRIFICE, COMMITMENT, COURAGE, TEAM WORK, those are words that we live and work by.
We all know what each word means to us and we accept the challenges daily. We have lost some along the way and they will never be forgotten. Although, the burden at times is heavy and the sacrifices are many, our mission continues. To be there when our help is needed.
Mission Division rides for Police II Officer Valentin “Val” Martinez who we lost on July 24th, 2020. Val succumbed to COVID-19 complications. A true friend and law enforcement professional, Val may be gone but never forgotten.
The foundation of this event began with our need to keep the memory of our brother, Police Officer Martinez alive. As time has moved forward, the need has grown to acknowledge all first responders who have paid the ultimate sacrifice both on and off-duty. Throughout the years, many heroes lives have been lost and it is vital to keep the promise to never forget.
We ride to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, WE RIDE TO ALWAYS REMEMBER.
