Dive into the fast-paced theatrical chapter of the Potter story and learn what it means to bring the magic of the wizarding world to the stage. We will develop our acting, character work, and scene analysis skills as we create theatrical magic for the last day based on Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Youth Theatre Northwest is committed to creating a kinder, more inclusive community for students from all walks of life. We do not agree with or wish to promote J. K. Rowling's views on transgender identities, but acknowledge the value and popularity of the Harry Potter stories. To that end, YTN pledges to donate to The Trans Youth Equality Foundation (a non-profit organization that provides advocacy, education, and resources in support of transgender and gender non-conforming youth) at the end of our summer season.
