About this event
Chica Weekend is our all woman's weekend surf camp, taught by our awesome 'Head Chicas' Amy Houseknecht and Sophia Pickett. The camp is inclusive for campers ranging from 18 to 80 and from complete beginners to veteran surfers who just want a great weekend of fun. Activities include balance and strength training, yoga, tai chi (sometimes), lots of surfing, a fire pit dinner with live music, a Costa Rican style brunch and lots more. Saturday starts the action at 11 am and goes right through the dinner that wraps up around 8 pm. Sunday morning is bright and early with beach yoga starting at 9 am followed by another round of surfing before the fun of the brunch,. It's a wonderful introduction to the sport and a terrific way to make new friends who will share your passion for the ocean.
