Science Olympiad provides students the opportunity to improve their understanding in various scientific disciplines (earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, etc.) and to work collaboratively in teams to learn new skills. Under the school team, smaller event teams of two members compete in events in their chosen disciplines and participate in a few select tournaments from mid-November to end of March. Each event team is mentored by a parent/adult mentor. The school team is coordinated by parent coach or co-coaches and often supported by a Faculty Advisor. Please contact your Activity Advisors, Mr. Carlos Bernal with questions. Note: Interested in learning more about this program? An information session will be held virtually during the week of registration. More information will be communicated on ParentSquare. This program will transition virtually in the case of school closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
