About this event
Introduce your child to SCRUM, an Agile framework used by real businesses such as Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, and more! SCRUM is a framework to solve complex problems through collaborative teams. During our "Genius Hour," students will get to experience roles as Product Owners, Developers, and SCRUM Masters as we tackle STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) design challenges each week! Challenges include: Designing a new board game for Hasbro, planning a new snack for Lays, and creating a car model for Tesla! A great hands-on experience to teach your child critical thinking skills along with how to work well with others. Miss Gould is a certified SCRUM Master through the SCRUM Alliance.
