About this event
THIS CLASS IS OPEN TO MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS GRADES 5-8. In this 9-week session, we will explore primitive wilderness skills, Students who take the course will learn basic wilderness survival skills and fire construction. Topics covered include animal and plant identification and illustration, regional ecology, simple basketry, cordage making, shelter construction, and bow drilling. THIS CLASS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 STUDENTS IN ORDER TO OCCUR. There will be 9 classes in this session.
