About this event
Join current Acalanes HS players and coaches for a unique lacrosse experience learning new skills and playing fun no contact games. Each session will be made up of practicing stick skills, learning some new team concepts, fun competitions, and organized free play. This is no pads, no contact, basketball style of lacrosse with a soft practice ball. A focus will be on stickwork and positive team attitude while getting to play small sided games (3v3, 5v5) and do shooting competitions like radar gun fastest shot and the always favorite "score on coach"! This is a perfect program for players brand new to lacrosse (we have loaner sticks!) to get some experience, or for more experienced players to work on stick skills and improve basic team concepts like pass and pick away, draw and dump, and simple sliding on defense. Campers are split up by age and experience for best fit.
