We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Enjoy nature while getting a little exercise. Join a group of individuals on a relaxing recreational bike ride on the Wauponsee Glacial Trail. Ride through a beautiful reclaimed abandoned railway path. The bike ride will leave from the parking lot at Sugar Creek Preserve and turn around at the Manhattan Road Access. The route will be approximately 8.5 miles along crushed limestone trails. This ride is the final ride for Rec Bike Club rides this fall. Other rides are as follows:
- 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Centennial Trail (7.2 miles)
- 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Messenger Marsh (5.5 miles)
- 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Hadley Valley — Gougar Road Access (7 miles)
Those who participate in all four rides will receive a promotional rechargeable bike taillight.
