Nothing quite matches the feel of oil paint! Join an inspiring and creative group to learn all the basics of painting with oils. From brush care to finishing marks, this week-long retreat serves as an fun and informative introduction to oil painting foundations and techniques. Topics will include lift-out techniques, layering processes, glazing, mediums, brushwork, palette knife use, and color mixing. An introduction to the elements and principals of design will help to give a foundation to the development of your compositions.
All materials are included in the class fee. Registration stops one week prior to ensure enough time for materials purchasing.
