About this event
SHEbot MAKERS- Solar Electric Makers Young girls discover the boundless possibilities of renewable energy technology through hands-on minds-on projects using solar panels, wind turbines, fuel cells and multi-meters. Solar Electric Makers emphasis is on project-based learning and STEM Literacy through “green” energy make and take labs. We use three thematic tracks (solar, wind, and electricity). The culminating celebration is a share-a-thon style mini Makerfaire where students set up a display of their renewables powered models and present their computer animated conclusion.
