About this event
In this three hour workshop you will paint a beautiful snowman in the woods. We will learn how to create a mood using variegated watercolor washes for our background. Using a liquid mask we will create textures and bring out the depth of our winter scene. We will learn shading techniques to add shadows to primarily white scenes. This class is open to all skill levels! No prior watercolor experience is necessary. As we progress with our snowman, we will take a break to create this quick fun modern christmas tree. Transparent layers of color will form our tree and we will add finishing touches with embellishments. This technique is perfect for creating Christmas cards for family and friends!
