The Haslett United Junior Gymnastics team was developed to give middle school-aged gymnasts an opportunity to compete in gymnastics without the time and monetary commitments of USAG. We strive to keep a light-hearted and recreational attitude at our practices and meets, while still encouraging strong skill development. We expect gymnasts to come to practice ready to work and have fun! This team will also be used to prepare gymnasts to join the Haslett United High School Gymnastics Team. NO PREVIOUS GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! There will be two Haslett United Junior teams this season, a competition team, and a recreational team. The competitive team will practice 6 hours per week and compete in 6-7 meets. The recreational team will practice 3 hours per week and will have the option to compete in one home meet at Haslett. The Haslett United Jr. Gymnastics teams train September 2022 through February 2023. Fees for the teams are split into two registrations, this Fall registration covers the training fees for the first half of the season (Sept.-Dec.) and there will be another registration to cover the second half of the season (Jan-March). Gymnasts are expected to participate in both fall and winter sessions for their respective team. Gymnasts that do not register for the first session will not be allowed to register for the winter session.
