About this event
ages 12 & up - Students will design and build a traditional wooden long bow. including grip and string. The student will develop an understanding of the dynamics of the long bow and learn some basic woodworking skills. In addition, they will learn how to produce traditional cordage. Requirements for class: Safety glasses and work gloves. Gloves should be light leather (preferred) or cloth - NO rubber gloves please.
