Looking for older adults to work on all aspects of fitness in the pool. Ability to swim is not a requirement, just the desire to learn how to work at your level and the willingness to try new things. The workout changes around using the gamut of option in the pool: noodles, boards, flippers, dumbells, side of the pool, speed, distance, etc. A variety of exercises will work on total body conditioning, isolated body parts, strength, flexibility, core, coordination and aerobics, Non weight bearing exercises are great for osteoarthritic joints and weight-bearing good for balance and loading bones. The class leader will help with accommodations on an individual basis.
